Using One
An overview of chatting with One, Denizen Blu's AI assistant, and the features built into every conversation.
One is Denizen Blu's AI assistant for research and everyday work. You type a question, One answers, and you can keep the conversation going for as long as you need. The same features are available at one.denizenblu.com and in the One apps for Android and iOS.
What happens when you send a message
When you start a new chat, One shows a welcome screen that greets you by name. Type your message in the box at the bottom of the screen and press Enter to send it.
Several things happen without you having to turn them on:
- One searches the web when it needs to. For current events, facts that change, or questions that need sources, One looks things up and cites what it read. See Web search and citations.
- One reads the files you attach. Attach a document and ask about it. See Files and documents.
- One can make images. Ask for a picture and One generates it in the chat. See Generating images.
- One can remember things about you. With memory on, One uses what it knows about you to personalize answers, and shows you every change it makes. See Memory.

A note on accuracy
One works hard to ground its answers in sources, but AI models can still make mistakes. For anything important, open the cited sources, use Check hallucinations to review an answer's claims, or ask the Jury & Judge for a second opinion from several models.
Appearance
One starts in dark mode. To change it, open Settings, go to General, and choose Light, Dark, or System under Theme.
