Using One

Agents

Build your own agents in One, each with its own instructions, model, and tools.

An agent is a version of One that you set up for a particular job, such as "Proposal reviewer" or "Meeting notes summarizer." You give it a name, instructions, a model, and the tools it can use, and then chat with it whenever you need that job done.

Agents are useful when you find yourself giving One the same instructions over and over.

Create an agent

  1. Open the Agent Builder (the robot icon) from the icons along the edge of the sidebar.
  2. Give the agent a Name and, optionally, a Description, a Category, and an avatar.
  3. Write its Instructions: what it should do, how it should answer, and anything it should avoid.
  4. Choose the Model it uses.
  5. Under Capabilities, turn on what it needs, such as Run Code, Web Search, Artifacts, or file search, and attach files it should always have access to. Use Add Tools and Add Actions under Tools and Actions to give it more.
  6. Save the agent.

Chat with an agent

  1. Open the model selector.
  2. Under My Agents, choose your agent.
  3. Send your message.

Like any model choice, a new chat goes back to Auto, so pick the agent again when you start a new chat.

Good to know

  • Agents you create are private to you. You can't share them with other people.
  • Image generation is only available in normal chats, not with agents.
  • The One — Jury agent in My Agents is the Jury & Judge. It's provided by Denizen Blu and can't be edited.
