Signing in and out

How you sign in to One with your Denizen Blu account, how long you stay signed in, how to sign out, and what "no seat" means.

One uses your Denizen Blu account. You don't create a separate password for One.

  1. Go to one.denizenblu.com.
  2. One sends you to the Denizen Blu sign-in page.
  3. Enter your Denizen Blu email address and password, and sign in.
  4. You return to One, ready to chat.

The first time you sign in, One creates your One account for you from your Denizen Blu account. Your name comes from your Denizen Blu account, which is why One can greet you by name.

Already signed in to Denizen Blu?

Your Denizen Blu sign-in is shared across Denizen Blu services in the same browser. If you are already signed in to another Denizen Blu service, One may open straight away without asking for your password again. This includes your Denizen Blu account page and the Denizen Blu console.

Forgot your password?

Select Forgot Password? on the Denizen Blu sign-in page and follow the steps in the email you receive. If you are already signed in, you can also choose Reset password from the account menu in One; see Your account and settings.

Staying signed in

While you are using One, it keeps your sign-in active in the background. You don't need to sign in again every time you open a new chat.

One signs you out and returns you to the sign-in page when your Denizen Blu sign-in ends. That happens when:

  • you haven't used One or any Denizen Blu service in that browser for about 30 minutes,
  • you sign out of Denizen Blu, in One or in another Denizen Blu service in the same browser, or
  • your Denizen Blu account is changed or turned off.

If One is briefly unable to reach the sign-in service, you stay signed in.

Being signed out doesn't delete anything. Your conversations are still there when you sign back in.

Sign out

  1. Click your name at the bottom of the left sidebar to open the account menu.
  2. Click Log out.

Signing out of One also ends your Denizen Blu sign-in in that browser, so other Denizen Blu services open in that browser will ask you to sign in again. On a shared or public computer, always sign out when you're done.

What "no seat" means

To use One, your Denizen Blu account needs a seat: a place in a Denizen Blu plan that includes One. If your account doesn't have one, you see this page instead of One:

No Denizen Blu seat assigned Your account doesn't appear to have a Denizen Blu seat assigned yet. Please reach out to support so we can get you set up.

What to do:

  • If you haven't chosen a plan yet, pick one at denizenblu.com.
  • If you already have a plan or your organization gave you access, contact support and include the email address you signed in with.
  • If your organization manages your access, ask the owner of your organization's Denizen Blu account to invite you. They do this on the account page under Team > Invite someone. Accept the invitation by selecting Join your organization on your account page.

Once a seat is assigned, sign in again.

If sign-in doesn't work

See Sign-in problems for a blank page, a sign-in that keeps coming back, or a "Too many login attempts" message.
