Sign-in problems
The sign-in page is blank
When you open One while signed out, it sends you to the Denizen Blu sign-in page. For a moment the page can look empty while that happens.
- Wait a few seconds. If the move to the sign-in page doesn't happen, One shows its own sign-in card with a sign-in button instead. Click the button.
- Still blank? Reload the page. If that doesn't help, close the tab, open a new one and go to one.denizenblu.com.
Sign-in keeps coming back, or ends on a sign-in card
If something goes wrong partway through signing in, One tries once more on its own. If that also fails, One stops on its sign-in card, often with an error message, rather than sending you back and forth. You might see:
- Authentication failed. Please check your login method and try again.
- No Denizen Blu seat assigned: see What "no seat" means.
To fix it:
- Click the sign-in button on the card to try again.
- If it fails again, close all One tabs, then open a new tab and go to one.denizenblu.com.
- Still failing? Clear cookies and site data for denizenblu.com in your browser, then sign in again. (This signs you out of other Denizen Blu sites in that browser.)
- Try a private or incognito window. If sign-in works there, a browser extension (such as a privacy or ad blocker) may be interfering. Allow cookies for denizenblu.com.
- If none of this works, contact support. Include the exact error message and the time you tried.
"Too many login attempts in a short amount of time. Please try again later."
One limits how many sign-in attempts can happen in a short time. If you see this message, wait 5 minutes before trying again. Attempts made during the wait still count, so don't keep clicking.
If you see this without having tried many times, contact support.
Forgot your password
Select Forgot Password? on the Denizen Blu sign-in page. See Forgot your password?
Signed out unexpectedly
One keeps you signed in while you're using it. It signs you out when your Denizen Blu sign-in ends, which can happen if:
- you left One idle for a long time,
- you signed out of Denizen Blu in another tab or another Denizen Blu service in the same browser,
- you reset your password with Forgot Password? and chose to sign out of other devices, or your account was changed, or
- your browser cleared its cookies (some browsers do this when you close them, or in private windows).
Sign in again to continue. Nothing is lost: your conversations are saved with your account. If a reply was still being written when you were signed out, it may be incomplete; use Regenerate on it.
If you're signed out every few minutes while actively using One, contact support and tell us your browser and whether it happens in a private window too.
"Error connecting to server, try refreshing the page."
One couldn't reach its server. Check your internet connection, then reload the page. If the message keeps coming back, check Denizen Blu status or contact support.
An answer shows a red error box
When a model can't answer, One shows the reason in a red box where the answer would be. The message comes from the model service, so its wording varies. Common causes:
- The model is busy or you're sending requests too quickly, for example a message about a rate limit or tokens per minute.
- The conversation is too long for that model to read all at once.
- The model is temporarily unavailable.
What to do:
- Wait a moment and click Regenerate on the failed answer. For an answer that ended in an error, Regenerate is the only action offered.
- Try a different model, or switch back to Auto. See Models.
- If the conversation is long, start a New chat and paste in only what's needed.
- If the same error keeps happening, contact support and copy the exact error text.
The error stays in your conversation after you reload, so you can see what happened. It isn't sent to the model as part of the conversation.
The send button is greyed out
- Right after an answer finishes, the send button can stay disabled for a moment while One saves the answer. Wait a second and try again.
- If your last message failed to send, One shows "Edit your message or Regenerate." Edit the message or regenerate before sending a new one. (If only the answer ended in an error, you can send again straight away.)
Answers are slow
Some waits are normal:
- Model choice. Some models take longer to start answering than others, especially larger or "reasoning" models. Try Auto or a faster model. See Models.
- Web search. When One searches the web, it reads the pages it finds before it answers. That adds time, especially with smaller models. See Web search.
- Jury. The Jury asks several models and then compares their answers, so it takes longer than a single answer. See Jury.
- Long conversations and large files. The more One has to read, the longer it takes to start.
- Fair-use cap. If you've reached your plan's fair-use cap, your requests may be slowed until the reset date. See below.
If every answer is slow, even short ones with a fast model, reload the page and try again. If it continues, contact support with the model name and roughly how long you waited.
Fair-use notices and limits
A notice saying you've used 80% or 90% of your fair use limit is a heads-up only. When you reach the cap, One tells you "You've reached your fair use cap, and your requests may be slowed." You can keep chatting; answers may take longer until the reset date in the notice.
To get back to full speed sooner, click Increase your seat to a higher plan. in the notice. Learn more in Plans and fair use.
Something looks wrong after an update
Reload the page. If menus or buttons still look broken, clear your browser's cache for one.denizenblu.com (not just cookies) and reload again.
