Plans and fair use
How Denizen Blu plans work with One, what the fair-use notices in One mean, and what to do when you see one.
Plans
One is included with Denizen Blu plans. Every individual plan is a flat monthly price, and there's no per-token billing: you aren't charged extra for how much you chat.
Denizen Blu offers several individual plans, from Explorer up to Ultimate, plus Enterprise for teams and organizations. Every plan includes One with the same models; higher plans come with higher usage limits. For current plans, prices and what each includes, see Pricing on denizenblu.com.
Your plan gives your account a seat in One. If your account has no seat, you'll see No Denizen Blu seat assigned when you sign in; see What "no seat" means.
Change your plan
- In One, open the account menu (your name, bottom left).
- Click Account. Your Denizen Blu account page opens in a new tab.
- Open the Plan tab. Your current plan is marked Current plan.
- Next to the plan you want, select Upgrade to move up now, or Switch at renewal to move to a lower plan at the end of your billing period.
- Confirm with Upgrade or Change at renewal. An upgrade starts straight away and you pay only the difference for the rest of the period.
If a change is waiting for your renewal date, you can undo it with Keep your current plan.
The Plan tab is for individual plans. On Enterprise, the account owner changes the number of seats under Billing & add-ons > Update seats.
To cancel your plan, contact support.
Fair use
Flat plans stay affordable because everyone uses them fairly. Each plan is sized for real individual and team use: interactive work, writing, research, development and normal automation. It isn't meant for reselling capacity or running large batch jobs around the clock on a personal plan.
Read the full policy at denizenblu.com/fair-use.
Your fair-use allowance resets every month on your billing date, the day your subscription renews. On an annual plan it still resets monthly, on the same day of the month. One tells you the reset date in its notices.
Fair-use notices in One
One checks your usage when you open it and every few minutes while it's open. As you get close to your plan's fair-use limit, a notice appears in the corner of the screen.
| Notice | What it means |
|---|---|
| You've consumed 80% of your fair use limit, which resets on date. | You've used most of your allowance. Nothing changes yet. |
| You've consumed 90% of your fair use limit, which resets on date. | You're close to the limit. Nothing changes yet. |
| You've reached your fair use cap, and your requests may be slowed. It resets on date. | You've used your allowance for this period. You can keep chatting, but answers may take longer until the reset date. |
Each notice includes the link Increase your seat to a higher plan., which opens the plans on your Denizen Blu account page in a new tab. Click Dismiss to close a notice. A notice may appear again later while you're still over that level.
What to do
- At 80% or 90%: keep working as usual. If you often get these notices, a higher plan may suit you better.
- At the cap: you can keep using One, with possibly slower answers, until the reset date. To get back to full speed sooner, click Increase your seat to a higher plan. and choose a higher plan.
- If your work needs guaranteed speed or very high volume, Denizen Blu offers dedicated capacity and Enterprise agreements. Contact sales.
- If you think a notice is wrong, contact support and include the notice's wording and the date you saw it.
Denizen Blu doesn't bill you for going over. Reaching the cap may slow your requests; it never adds charges to your plan.
