Find
To search the conversation you're looking at:
- Press ⌘F (Mac) or Ctrl+F (Windows and Linux). A search box appears at the top right of the window.
- Type what you're looking for. Matches are highlighted and the box shows where you are, for example "2 of 5", or No results.
- Press Enter for the next match and Shift+Enter for the previous one, or use the arrow buttons.
- Press Esc, or click ✕, to close the box.
Find searches what's on screen. To search all your conversations, use View > Search Chats. See Conversations.
Right-click and spelling
Right-click for:
- Spelling. A misspelled word in the message box is underlined. Right-click it to choose a suggestion, or Add to Dictionary so it isn't flagged again.
- Links. Open Link in Browser and Copy Link.
- Images. Copy Image.
- Text. Cut, Copy, Paste and Select All.
The app checks spelling with your computer's own spellchecker, in the languages your Mac or Windows PC is set up for. On Linux, it checks English.
